Moaz Khan

Moaz Khan and his dog EddieMoaz Khan is a Visually Impaired/Blind leader who has been involved in both national and international efforts involving advocacy for individuals with special needs. He is an experienced motivational speaker and a proud Longhorn who resides in Austin Texas. He has been serving as a mentor and speaker for The University of Texas at Austin, Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired, and Department of Assistive & Rehab Division for Blind Services. Additionally, he has appeared in two separate documentaries outlining his motivation and inspirational work. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning and Development from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University. He completed an Alternate Dispute Resolution Certificate from UT Law School as well. He holds the prestigious certificate of Health & Human Services Executive Leadership Academy. He most recently completed Executive training in Non-Profit Leadership at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He is a founder of global non-profit organization called Vision Without Barriers which provides and support to individuals with disabilities. He is a founder and owner of Falcon Mediation as well. He is also serving as an experienced supervisor for Texas Department of Family & Protective Services State Office. For leisure he works out and practices Tae Kwon-Do. He holds a 3rd Dan Black Belt and currently serves as a judge for local events. Recently he received an angel with paws his companion pure bred black Labrador Retriever guide dog who accompanies him in his endeavors. He is a running guide as well and Moaz plans to explore the unchartered territories in upcoming years with his guide dog Eddie.
