Mission

Vision Without Barriers is a 501.C.3 Global Non- Profit Organization. Our mission is to provide, facilitate, and empower those who are disadvantaged and/or have substantial impairments which limit them from maintaining an independent living arrangement and getting equal opportunity in society.

Working with Vision Without Barriers was so easy. A few phone calls and emails, and the process was a go. The process was simple and quick. It took no time to get funding for my small business. It was also great to get connected with a company that builds computers for the blind. I was able to use the funds to purchase a new computer for my business. I am beyond thinkful.

My name is Rizwan and i am Telephone operator in a local bank in Lahore Pakistan. I previously used Symbion mobiles with Talks. As Symbian set are no longer available in market for the last many months i despirately wanted an Android phone but was unable to get it due to lack of finances. Then i learned about Vision Without Barriers from one of my friends and requested for a smart phone. Their field officer visited me once, filled a form for me and within couple of weeks i got my Android phone. As a matter of fact it was a mix of shock and pleasure. I am extremely glad and thankful to team Vision Without Barriers.

Being a visually challenged freelancer is not an easy task specially in countries like Pakistan. Few months ago i was having a discussion about the problems faced by professional VIP's in Pakistan, i discussed my requirement for a new laptop and new version of Fusion as i was useing ZoomText 9.1 till now. surprisingly it took only one form and few weeks and i got my new DELL Core i7 first generation laptop with Fusion 2019. Almost 20 years dealing with different NGO's this experience is one of its kind. AMAZING!!!! Thank You VWB

Historic Trend

Historically, disabled individuals within any community are ranked highest on the poverty scale.Individuals with special needs usually require 100% additional assistance in the form of adaptive equipment and vocational training to function on the base line spectrum. Vocational training and adaptive equipment are hard to acquire and extremely expensive. In rare instances where equipment and training are provided, these individuals are still overlooked, left behind, unemployed, and helpless due to lack of opportunity in the economic structure of the region.

What do we Plan to do? There will be a dynamic approach to the problem-solving project-based plan to deliver the desired effects in the most efficient manner
